Physically a late bloomer, Krug was passed over during the NHL Entry draft and proceeded straight into the NCAA with the Michigan Spartans. Torey Krug played at Michigan State from 2009-12 before signing with Boston after his junior season. While undersized physically, Krug brings speed and two-way versatility to the position, routinely leading all Boston defenseman the past seasons. His ability to quarterback a power play. He was 8th in D scoring this year with 51 points, and 22nd in D scoring the year previous also with 44 points.
Teams – Philadelphia Flyers, Columbus Blue Jackets
Bobrovsky, you’re off the case this off season. After winning his second Vezina with his Columbus Blue Jackets Bobrovsky has solidified his spot among the elite undrafted players of all time. He has been named to two All-Star games and has won 4 medals for Russia in international play. He has a career .920 save percentage, and a 2.45 GAA in the NHL, with 19 Shutouts. In terms of active players, he has the 4th highest save percentage (tied with Henrik Lundqvist) and ahead of Roberto Luongo, Pekka Rinne and Corey Crawford.
Team – Calgary Flames
Giordano is among the most elite defenseman in all the NHL. He had 39 points this season, 56 the year previous, and 48 the year prior (in 61 games). Good enough for .79 points per game. While being on the Flames for the entirety of his career, he has been named to 2 All Star Games. He was named the captain of the Calgary Flames after the trade of Jerome Iginla in 2013.
Team – Tampa Bay Lightning
Tyler Johnson, in the 2014-15 Season Johnson recorded 72 points, the same total as good teammate Steven Stamkos. While his production has dipped in subsequent seasons, and his role has diminished with the emergence of Palat and Kucherov. Still a dominant player, and notorious playoff performer. Expect a strong playoff push from the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2018.

Kunitz is a rare bird. He has the same amount of Stanley Cups as Wayne Gretzky, has an Olympic gold medal, and has played alongside legends like Malkin and Crosby, Getzlaf and Perry for the entirety of his career. While his is on the tail end of his career, he has racked up points in every single season that defy the norm of an undrafted player. He was a perennial 40-50 point player and recorded a 68 point season in 2013, and a 60 point season in Anaheim.
