GM’s Will Not Expose Vegas Trades Prior to Draft.

Don’t expect any solid information regarding trades occurring this week.

NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly had a conference call with all 31 general managers on Tuesday to clear up any last minute confusion that may exist.

According to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun, the general managers were told during that call not leak any trades they make involving the Golden Knights or expansion draft.

This is likely in order to generate more attention towards the actual draft on the 21st of June, which will reveal both the draftees on the team, but also the players traded in lieu of picks in regards to the team.

This explains the influx of unconfirmed rumors regarding players, and conditional offers involving Vegas. Marcus Kruger being traded for a third round pick is one of those rumors that broke over the weekend.

Several other rumors have been leaked over the week from various TSN analysts. Kevin Bieksa, Scott Hartnell and David Clarkson are all players who’s names have come up in discussion around the league.

Hopefully this lays to rest the various rumors that have circulated regarding players on the move.

More to come as the draft approaches.
